About a year ago, I remember wanting to play a rogue like and yours was the first one to come up. Now even though it is a bit over my skill level to play this game, you inspired me to make my very own rogue like in which I have taken some inspiration from this masterpiece. Now we have a team of 6 people working on our game, but this still is 10x better than anything we could do. Just wanted you to know how amazing this game is and how it inspired me to try making my favourite type of game - a rogue like! Thanks a lot!

Wow, thanks a lot! This actually means so much. So so glad I inspired you and thanks for the kind words. I see mostly the bad things about my games and being reminded that other people like that or even are inspired by them is so incredible! Hope the best for you guys on your game and would gladly like to know more about it! And thanks for making my day :)

Glad I could help! I'll keep you posted :D

i remember i used to play the scratch version 2 years ago. This one is better but i miss not having ammo so when I got the firerate thing to 0 i got a machine gun i also remember when i got a shotgun with 0 friearte and fought a boss my school chome book would run at 1-2 fps.here is my scrth account :D

Hey! Yeah the infinite ammo was a lot of fun I admit, although, it was really unbalanced. I guess it gives a reason to revisit both versions of the game. Thanks for checking the itch version :)

This is really cool. There's so much attention to detail, love it!

The animations are all meticulously crafted, the money raining down from the chest, the enemies spawning, the confetti when clearing a room, everything is so slick!!

The exp system feels really good, I didn't play before the update but I really like the progression feeling and the extra upgrade choice from leveling up.

I love the ammo system with a bar that fills back up instead of reloading or god forbid limited ammo! It's just so much nicer not to have to worry <3

I wish there was a pause menu, but once a room is cleared I guess there's not really any need for one :)

Do you plan on uploading desktop builds of this?

P.S I think you left all the debug hotkeys in, maybe that's on purpose? I know the number keys are since you mentioned them in the devlog, but the P key, the O key etc do stuff too :p

HEY! Thanks a lot for checking the game out :) Yes I left the debug hotkeys for everyone to enjoy, but when players use them, they get a cheater ending hahahaha, I still think it's a good thing to leave them in, it allows player to explore the game without needing to be too skilled at the game. For the desktop build, I really want to make one, but this game is made with scratch, and exporting to exe is very hard, and many of the websites I've tried to convert it on don't work for me. Thanks for the long comment and noticing many of my design decisions, makes me feel like I did the right thing :)

Woah I had no idea something like this could be made in scratch!! That's amazing

Hello there. I was simplepixelz. Now I'm Wrong Side Studios. We're -me and a friend- are a two man studio. Now. Cya! Great job on the game by the way, I love it! I still play it from time to time.

This is a pretty cool game! I have no mouse at the moment, and playing it with a trackpad is HARD. Well done!

Thanks a lot :)

I dont know why but it does not work! and its very sad because I really enjoyed the scratch version.

It might be the browser youre using. If youre using a school computer, it might block any html file from playing. Still, thank you for coming here!

alright thanks!
